The Zhenyuan gold mine is divided into five sections: Donggualin, Laowangzhai, Kudumu, Langnitang, and Daqiaoqing. The Laowangzhai section has proven reserves of 22.484 tons with an average grade of 5.29 g/t; the Donggualin section has proven reserves of 44.791 tons with an average grade of 5.1 g/t. The Zhenyuan gold mine is closely related to the ophiolite mélange belt in the Ailao Mountains region.
