Dumont ultramafic body, 27 km west of Amos.
The Dumont intrusion is a huge, low-grade nickel prospect with most of its recoverable nickel present as pentlandite, awaruite and minor heazlewoodite. Serpentine in the intrusion contains appreciable amounts of chlorine (up to slightly more than 0.9%).
