The stratigraphy of the mining area is relatively simple, primarily comprising Upper Carboniferous to Lower Permian Laga Formation (C2-P1l), Lower Permian Angjie Formation (P1a), Lower Cretaceous Zenong Group Zhaliena Formation (K1z), and Quaternary (Q) deposits. Three gold orebodies have been preliminarily delineated in the mining area, with all orebodies distributed along structural fracture zones. Specifically, NW-trending faults F4 and F6 and approximately NS-trending fault F5 control the Au-I, Au-III (concealed), and Au-II orebodies, respectively. The orebodies primarily occur within silicified tectonic altered rocks. The Au-I orebody extends NW with a surface exposure width of ∼5 m and length of ∼300 m. The Au-II orebody trends NS with surface dimensions of ∼6–18 m width and ∼800 m length.
