quartz and feldspar were mainly extracted.
Depth: 22 meters. This mine is probably named after one of the first foremen in the mine. It is not known when this mine was started, but much suggests that it was in the early 1900s. There was activity here until 1948. It is also not known who worked here, but there must have been significant activity over many years, since a dining barrack (break hut) was built for the workers about 50 m from the mine. The foundation is still visible. A larger building was also erected on the west side of the mine. The building has now collapsed, but it is estimated to have been about 50 x 10 meters in ground area.

Mine II lies about 50 meters south of Mine I. Work started here in 1964. Today, we can see a concrete pillar where the hoist crane was mounted. The small elongated mine hole shows that the deposit was not particularly profitable.
