The upper part of the Jurassic Brushy Basin Member of the Morrison Formation in Ten Mile Graben, Utah hosts a carbonate unit interpreted to represent a small hypersaline spring-fed lake system. This small lake system was northwest of neighboring Lake T’oo’dichi’. A Quaternary CO2-charged spring system with 41 different tufa deposits and at least six active springs is also present in Ten Mile Graben. Tufa terraces range in age from actively forming to about 400Ka.
