Ji'an mine
In this section, five veined ore bodies have been documented, with the largest being No. 102, extending approximately 80 m, oriented at 140° and dipping at 70°. At different depths, the shape of ore bodies also changes slightly and the thickness mainly varies between 3–4 m, whilst has the characteristics of a lens. The highest grade of the ore (Pb + Zn) reaches 22.83 %, with an average grade ranging from 3.06 % to 8.65 %. The metallogenic element is primarily Pb-Zn, and occurred in the sulfide-bearing altered rocks, and quartz, calcite veins. The mineralization process at the Ji'an deposit is characterized by four distinct stages: the retrograde skarn phase (Pre-ore Stage), initiated by the early quartz-sulfide phase (Stage I), advancing to the late quartz-sulfide phase (Stage II), and concluding with the quartz-carbonate phase.
