Tectonics: Cascade Volcanic Arc

Deposit: Deposit has been tentatively given the informal name of a breccia pipe cu deposit, for which there is no published model. There are two mineralized outcrops 3000 ft apart. Deposit is on periphery of a gold-copper-tourmaline bearing breccia pipe at contact of carbon river stock and andesite

Development: Nerco returned property to owner after drilling nine holes totalling more than 2800 ft. There were said to be some encouraging results

Geology: Western facies of the fifes peak formation includes basaltic andesite, basalt and lesser andesite breccia, andesite tuff, volcaniclastic sedimentary rocks, and crystal-lithic tuff. Property lies near contact of fifes peak formation and carbon river stock. Without more detailed information is it not known which of these rock types may be the host rock. Geologic environment: predominantly sedimentary rocks of miogeosynclinal origin. Associated granitic intrusive(s).
