A U-Pb-Cu deposit located in sec. 4, T6N, R14E, on 10 claims, in the SE ¼ sec. 4, T6N, R14E, about 2 miles E of Board Tree Saddle on (to) the west of Cherry Creek Canyon, on National Forest land. 7 claims located by T.E. Ellison and 3 by C.A. Saylor. NOTE: Alternate coordinates provided: 33.8869N, 110.9147W. Coordinates map to a point away from Cherry Creek Canyon to the west.

Mineralization is a vein deposit with a linear ore body hosted in quartzite. The ore body averages 1.5 feet thick and trends NNE along fractures. The ore is a few feet above hornfels that formed at the contact with diabase. Mineralization is localized at the intersection of fractures in black facies of Dripping Springs Quartzite. The deposit is about 80 feet above a diabase sill that cuts basal strata of the upper member of the Dripping Spring Quartzite. Nearly all the primary uranium minerals arein rocks in a 1 foot stratigraphic interval. Alteration includes the Dripping Springs, which is locally converted to hornfels just above the diabase.

Workings include a 70 foot (21.34 meters) drift and 35 foot (10.67 meters) crosscut. No production record.

Radioactivity: 0.75 to 5.0 mr/hr.
