Outcrops and sinkholes of off-white, fine-grained, layered gypsum in the area NW to NE of the Lünerkrinne ridge.
The gypsum locally contains authigenic dolomite (mostly pale to dark grey sharp acute rhombohedra, generally not larger then 3-5 mm, rarely also up to 1.2 cm), rare albite (tiny platelets) and rare quartz (tiny, indistinct) (Kolitsch and Mäser, 2023).

Outcrops in the same gypsum formation further east also contain these minerals (Kolitsch and Mäser, to be published).
