A former surface and underground Au-Pb-Ag-Cu mine. Produced 1924-1945.

Mineralization is a vein deposit with a tabular ore body. Ore control was faulting and shearing. Ore concentration was oxidation at near surface. Minor alteration was noted. An associated rock unit is the Government Canyon Granodiorite.

Area structures include veins sometimes parallel to regional foliation in Precambrian country rocks that trends N10E to N45E.
