Deposit: 2 veins; lamellar quartz, banded, with fine-grained black sulfides As thin crustifications. Wall rock is silicified, brecciated latite. Vein outcrop on ridge is highly silicified; sheeting and veining along N 30 E structure

Development: In 1915, it was equipped with a cyanide plant (10-stamp) of 50 tons capacity. 4 unpatented claims. The mine was worked from 1913 to 1915 by the atkins-kroll co. Of san francisco, who built the mill. Drilling project on the site in the past 1-2 years (1982) has explored hanging wall and footwall of vein structure to s W along strike.
Geology: Outcrop stained tan and brick red
