Structure: Roughly E-W-Striking Faults Dipping N At 56-60
Alteration: Strong Hydrothermal Alteration Of Quartz Monzonite
Commodity: Ore material is greenish gray, very fine grained, homogeneous, usually sheared to a white or light greenish gray fine-grained friable material with a silky luster.
Deposit: Hydrothermally altered zone extends over 1600 ft nw-se and contains irregular zones of more intense alteration up to 150 ft in diameter. Contacts with unaltered rock are irregular and gradational over a foot or less.
Development: Since may, 1971 the property has been owned by r.t. Vanderbilt co., with development and mining done by its subsidiary, western talc co. The mine has operated intermittently.
