A former surface and underground Cu-Ag-Au-Pb mine located in all of sec. 12, T.11N., R.4W. (Peeples Valley 7.5 minute topo map). Discovered 1880. Produced 1885-1975. Claims include: Zonia group; Black Prince claim; Shamrock claim.

Mineralization includes stratiform, irregular, lenses and veinlet ore bodies. Ore control was stratigraphy; zones of pronounced schistosity, sparsely disseminated throughout schist and monzonite also; and fracturing. Ore concentration was oxidation and enrichment at near surface. Alteration includes sericitization and chloritization.

Area structures include massive sulfide lenses parallel to foliation and bedding in metavolcanic rocks, which trend N40E.
