The NGU report mentions the presence of ca. 24 prospects, several of which are clearly visible on the LiDAR map.
The mineralisation occurrs in a dolomite marble horizon, and comprises a massive pyrite lense with sphalerite in the lying and hanging contact with the massive sulphide lense. The Zn mineralisation occurs as bands and breccias.
The deposit is considered to be too small to be of economic interest.
In 1901 the deposit was prospected by a Dutch company, in 1907 by a Swedish company, and was studied in 1975-76 by the NGU.
A sample from the Svend Pedersen collection shows a fine grained mix of sphalerite/pyrite in carbonate matrix.
