Forneshatten molybdenskjerp, Brønnøy, Nordland, Norge


Molybdenite and tourmaline bearing quartz veins in ultramafic rocktypes. The main locality is 8 m long and 0,35 m wide. The mineralisation is associated with a zonated pegmatite dyke, 10-20 cm wide, surrounded by biotitised pyroxenite. The molydenite occurs as up to 2 cm large flakes in albite/tourmaline.
