Sørlielva gullskjerp, Brønnøy, Nordland, Norge
A locality discovered by BP Norge A/S Minerals during regional prospecting for gold.
The mineralisation occurs in a 20-35 cm wide and 50 m long quartz vein, with a 10-20 wide calcite core. The ore minerals occur as dissemnations and fracture fillings mainly in the contact zone with the partly silificated diorite-gabbro, containing granite dykes.
Three analyzed samples showed gold values of 2359 to 5230 ppb.
