Storspalten gullskjerp, Brønnøy, Nordland, Norge
A locality discovered by Boliden AB during the 1930's, and described by Kautsky (1936). The mineralisations occur in a 75 m long and 5-6 m wide fracture zone, containing a dense system of thin, subparallel quartz veins and lenses in granite. Fine-corned arsenopyrite and medium-corned pyrite occur as semi-massive fracture fillings (1-10 mm wide), and as "breccia cement" (20 cm wide veins) both in quartz and granite.
Three analyzed samples showed gold values of 1671 to 36935 ppb.
