Kaldklavtinden gullskjerp, Brønnøy, Nordland, Norge
An occurrence ca. 200m north of the summit of the Kaldklavtinden. Veins/semimassive/disseminated arsenopyrite in quartz veins in granite. The mineralized part of the vein measures 75x5m. In the eastern part of the vein system younger stilbite/calcite-filled veins occur in a 5m wide zone. In 1994 this occurrence was studied by the NGU. Gold values of up to 150 ppm have been found.
The NGU has registered this occurrence as "Kalklavtind", while the norwegian map calls this mountain "Kaldklavtinden".
