Two lineal-shaped mineralized lenses of Zn, Pb, Au and Ag rich ore. A total possible reserve of 365 Kt has been inferred.

The deposit was discovered during the 1960's by Swedish mining company Boliden, and subsequent drilling gave a tonnage of 148 Kt. Further exploration by ASPRO/LKAB during the 1980's increased the assumed ore reserves to 365 Kt, divided over the two ore lensens, respectively 235 Kt in the lower zone, and 130 Kt in the upper zone.

The mineralisations occur in connection with felsic meta-vulcanite (quartz keratofhyre), and is assumed to be identical with the one containing the Brunreinsvatnet and Svarthammaren ore deposits.

The NGU report lists several prospects and sample locations. None of the coordinates is spot-on, but around 65.67537,14.38868 are sveral features on the LIDAR map consistent with small prospects.
