Structure: Window In Tertiary Volcanic Rocks

Alteration: Oxidation

Deposit: This mine is part of the gold park group of claims, which the nevada mining co. Acquired in 1893. A stamp mill was built. The arctic mine is developed by an inclined shaft, two adits, and numerous small stopes along a quartz vein. There are 200 ft of drifts at the 200-ft level. ; info.src : 1 pub lit quartz veins

Geology: The quartz veins range in thickness from a few inches to 6 feet and generally strike northeast and dip steeply southesst. The veins cut meta-andesite. The oxide zone extends to a depth of 250 ft.
