Alteration: Silicification, Leached Rhyolitic Volcanics

Deposit: The ore zone is 125 ft by 70 ft the sheared fault contact between andesite and rhyolite was heavily pyritized, but the ore was entirely within the agglomerate.

Deposit type: Epithermal vein, Comstock

Development: Mine owned by clifford hill mining co. In 1906; western gold corp. In 1925-1946; the last known lessees were on the property in the mid-1960's for at least 6 months.

Geology: The vertical fault is heavily pyritized.

Ore(s): The Ore Is Control By A Vertical Fault With Andesite In Contact With Rhyolite Agglomerate.
