A former underground Au-Ag-Cu-As-Pb mine located in the northern portion of the Cottonwood Cliffs Plateau, about 9 road miles East of Hackberry. Started 1911 and operated intermittently until 1918. Reopened 1925 and worked 1928-1929 (or 1935). Owned at times, or in part, by the Walkover Mines, Inc. (1927- ), then changed to the Calizona Mining Co.; and, the El Paloma Mining Co. (1928- ).

Mineralization is granite and schist overlain by essentially horizontal Tertiary volcanic rocks. The Walkover vein strikes S.25ºE. and dips 75ºW. and occurs in medium-foliated, dark-colored schist. The gangue is brecciated, glassy, gray quartz and altered fragments of schist. Above the 100 foot level (water level) it is accompanied by considerable iron oxide and some copper staining. Below that level it contains abundant, banded sulfides. Oreshoot ranged from 8 inches to 5 feet and averaged about 2 feet wide. Fliation strikes NE and dips steeply NW. Precambrian rocks are overlain by younger volcanic rocks.

Workings included a 365 foot deep shaft and an exploratory tunnel to 200 feet South of the main shaft.
