Located in the West Fork of French Gulch approximately 2.8 miles (4.5 kilometers) south of the confluence of French Creek and the Coeur d' Alene River (west of Pine Creek).

The US Bureau of Mines lists the mine as having produced from 1913 to 1954 88,000 tons of ore containing 49,000 ounces of silver, 8,124,000 pounds of lead, 7,100 pounds of zinc, 61,000 pounds of copper, and 580 ounces of gold.
