This group of mines worked copper lodes on Penhale Moor, producing 7,635 tons of copper and some tin between 1815 and 1858. An open shaft and a line of old burrows are located south of the road between Weeth and Carnhell Green. Dines also recorded 2 tons of black tin, and 4 tons of arsenical silver ore.
