Consolidated Feldspar prospect; T.F.F. Quarry


A feldspar-quartz occurrence/claim/mine located in the SW¼NE¼NE¼ sec. 10, T22N, R17W, G&SRM, about 3 miles N25ºW of the Kingman Feldspar Mine quarries, on the East side of the Cerbat Mountains, on Bureau of Land Management administered land. Owned by Consolidated Feldspar Corporation (1950). The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 100 meters.

Mineralization is a large granite pegmatite body. Potassium feldspar and quartz occur in the finer grained parts of the pegmatite. Local rocks include Early Proterozoic metamorphic rocks.
