A former small surface and underground Cu-Ag-Au mine group located in South-central sec. 4, T.17S., R.6W. (protracted)(Lukeville 15 minute topo map), 7½ miles NW of Lukeville on the Mexican border. Owned at times, or in part, by Milton-Sturges; and the Montana-Arizona Mining Co.

Mineralization is a strong fracture zone in Mesozoic schist with granitic porphyry intrusions. Ore is spotty and irregular, high-grade copper carbonates and strong chloritic alteration in and along quartz stringers.

Workings are a shallow shaft and surface cuts. Worked in 1916-1917 and 1951-1954, producing some 1,100 tons of ore averaging about 9% Cu and 4 oz. Ag/T.
