A Cu-Pb-Zn-Au-Ag mining area located in T.16-17S., R.6W.
Mineralization is scattered, small deposits of oxidized base metal sulfides in narrow and irregular quartz-calcite veins along fracture zones in granitic porphyry and metamorphic schists and phyllites of Mesozoic age.
Workings are mostly shallow operations worked sporadically since from prior to 1900 to the 1930's. The total of estimated and recorded production is some 1,300 tons of ore containing about 8% Cu, 5% Pb, 52 oz. Ag/T and minor Au.
