A former small underground Pb-Zn-Ag-Cu-Au-Sb mine group located in sec. 27 and East-central sec. 28, T.17S., R.16E., 7 miles E of Helvetia. Produced 1923-1949. Owned by the Noscut Mining Co. Operated by Terrel & Jarnagin, L.S. Greybill, C.H. Tuck, and Mike Hines.

Mineralization is irregular, lensing replacement deposits of partly oxidized sulfides and sulfosalts along fractures and faults in chloritized and sericitized Cretaceous sediments and volcanics. Strong pyritic alteration, gossan.

Workings include shallow adit/tunnel operations. Originally opened in 1915 with sporadic production through 1949 of some 180 tons of ore averaging about 13% Pb, 11 oz. Ag/T and minor Cu & Zn.
