Structure: Groundhog-Ivanhoe Fault

Deposit: Veins along splayed northeast end of groundhog-ivanhoe fault and dike system. Veins chiefly between granodiorite porphyry dike (hanging wall) and cretaceous colorado formation and quartz diorite sill (footwall).

Development: Rich supergene ores mined prior to 1904. Some mining of sulfide ores up until 1907. Idle since 1907.

Geology: One reference refers to the host rock As being pennsylvanian syrena formation.

Ore(s): Vein, Fissure Filling, And Replacement Along Faults Near Or Adjacent To Igneous Intrusive Activity With Supergene Enrichment Of Near Surface Deposits.
