A former small underground Pb-Cu-Zn-Au-Ag-Mo mine located in the NE ¼ sec. 18 and sec. 7, T.18S., R.17E., 10 miles SSW of Pantano. Discovered 1879. Owned at times, or in part, by Sullivan & Pantano; E.P. Hilton; and, McMahon.

Mineralization is secondary lead minerals, copper carbonates and residual sulfides in irregular replacement orebodies and chimneys (coarse stockwork) along fissure intersections of fissures of northeast and northwesterly trend, in folded and faulted Permian limestone intruded by Laramide dikes. Host rock unit is the Concha Limestone. Ore control was fissure intersections. Alteration was massive sulfide gossan, contact metamorphism adjacent to granite. An associated rock unit is the Sycamore Canyon Quartz Monzonite. The ore body strikes SSW and dips steeply NW.

Local structures include folded and faulted limestone blocks along NW faults.

Workings include inclined shaft operations. Developed to the 300 level as of 1939. Worked irregularly since the late 1800's to 1930, producing some 1,200 tons of ore averaging about 20% Pb, 3% Zn, 0.8% Cu, 1.5 oz. Ag/T and minor Au.
