An occurrence of rosenhahnite (type locality) located in the center of the E½E½ sec. 23, T12N, R11W, MDM, 4.7 km (ca. 3 mi) SSE of Pieta, along the E bank of the Russian River near highway 101, 5 miles (ca. 8 km) N of Cloverdale.
Note: The TL of Rosenhahnite should be Pieta since that town is closer by ½ than Cloverdale, which is in another county as well.
Note: Coordinates provided are approximate to the center of the E boundary between secs. 22 & 23.
Mineralization is found in Franciscan rocks in the Russian River.
