A silica-Ag-Cu-Pb-Zn-Au mining district located in T.12-14S., R.22-23E.
Mineralization is: (1) Erratic silver and minor gold values in jasperoid replacement lenses in folded and faulted Paleozoic limestone; and, (2) Small, irregular quartz veins with spotty and weak base metal ores in Paleozoic limestone.
Workings are mostly small prospects. Except for silica flux, only a few tons of ore were produced in the 1890's and 1935 through 1939.
