Klepp is the name of a farm nær the river Otra. In this area and in the neighbouring municipality there are several feldspar quarries that are little known. Only one of the quarries were described by Andersen (1931), the Klepp 1 quarry. (Named as "Klep" by Andersen (1931)

The coordinates are for the farm.
Some of the quarries that have been given the designation Klepp, should probably called Austre Hodne since they are situated on land belonging to that farm.
