Köppen climate type:
Active marble quarries located above the Fantiscritti quarry group. The most known of them is the open pit quarry named Fiordichiara A or Quarry No. 73 (see coordinates). The underground Fiordichiara B or Quarry No. 76 (44°5'45"N, 10°8'00"E) is located ca. 250 m west of the former. In between there are two inactive quarries, named Ortonovo (44°5'48"N, 10°8'8"E) and Ortonovo II (44°5'47"N, 10°8'5"E) respectively.
