Located 5.5 kilometres east of the Carnilya Hill Nickel Mine.

Discovered in 1973 by W.D.M. Hall while geo-mapping for BHP. Discontinuous gossan across a length of 270 metres. Explored by BHP and Western Mining Corporation as a joint venture in 1976.

The ultramafic here is far thinner than at Carnilya Hill at 40-80 metres thick, dipping south 40-75 degrees, dominated by talc, magnesite, dolomite, chlorite, and the east end a large lense of amphibolite, chlorite and feldspar. Mineralisation is found in the contact zone with ultramafics and tholeiitic metabasalt, with quartz veins, feldspar, chlorite, tremolite rosettes, and small carbonate porphyroblasts.

Sulphide mineralisation is in the southern part of the contact zone, extending a length of 420 metres, terminated by a north dipping reverse fault. The oxidation zone extends 40-70 metres below the surface. Mineralisation is blebs and dissemination as lenses, veins and stringers of Ni sulphides. Primary mineralisation is pentlandite, pyrrhotite, minor pyrite, chalcopyrite. Grades at 10% Ni.
