Miocene age Waitemata Group - altered volcanic glass.

Fletcher Bay is a campsite at the northern tip of the Coromandel Peninsula, 64 kilometres north, and at the end of a gravel road from Coromandel town.

Analcime in a matrix of andesite grit in the Colville Formation. However, most of this formation is basal conglomerate, calcareous sandstone, and lithic volcanic sandstone and siltstone. This is overlain by the Port Charles Andesite consisting of hypersthene, augite, and hornblende andesitic flows and fragments.

Only a vague sweeping statement is made that the other zeolites listed are found in the district.
