This locality entry is to be intended mostly as a sort of base camp to access a large collecting area extending especially towards South West and with no defined separation with respect to the neighboring Mt. Forno locality.
Indeed from Ca-silicate bearing veins, pegmatites and quartz veins, all embedded into amphibolitic rocks, a large number of mineral species can be found even at a very short distance from the pass, both from boulders and from outcrops\subcrops.
