Several small prospect has been registred W/NW for the Gunnarshaugvatnet. There are few outcrops in the area. The largest prospect is an overgrown 5x2m ditch. Ore samples can be found under the vegetation, consisting of mm to cm wide bands with alternating magnetite, pyritem chert and chlorite/amphibole rich laminae.
