Jordan is a group name for several small mines and prospects in two (or three?) parallel ore zones where pyrite and chalkopyrite occurs in quartz, or in a quartz, chlorite matrix, as veins and aggregates in felsic metavulcanites and in greenschists.

Common for all of them is that are small and poorly described.

The Jordan mine itself is currently only visible as a fenced in 2x2,5m water filled hole, but the dump (300m3) is relatively large compared with many other prospects and small mines in this area. There has been activity in the mine in four periods: 1899, 1917-1919, 1929-1930 og 1956-1957. The mine is 40m deep with a number of tunnels at different depths.
