The Ulvhus deposit consist of several bodies of an attractive anorthosite. Two main areas are considered to be of commercial quality containing 600 000 m3 and 325 000 m3 gross volume respectively.

The localities for anorthosite with labradorite showing schiller effect (labradorescence) is located both in the municipalities of Hå and Eigersund. There are currently (2015) two active quarries for labradorescenct anorthosite for ornamental use, the Krokavatnet Southeast in Eigersund, and Sirevåg in Hå. The area is extensively mapped and several localities have been identified.
