Briefly mined in 1992 by the London Syndicate, by trial heap leach from a small 9 metre deep pit. 1000 ounces of gold was obtained. The deposit is located in a tonalite dyke with grades increasing at depth. The vat leaching focussed on near surface oxide ore containing under 1 g/t grades, and was said to have been unsuccessful due to the clayey nature of the oxidised tonalite. Next they added cement to the ore, called agglomeration, to ensure the ore becomes granular, and this enabled the material to be processed. Mineralisation is also within a fault zone of sheared tonalite, and sheared basalt adjacent to the Mick Adam's tonalite, heading towards the Outridge mine.
