Woodberry Trap Quarry

A quarry in gabbro and quartz-diorite, cross-cut by numerous milky quartz veins. Located on the west bank of Jones Falls near the railroad trestle. Coordinates for centre of remediated (mostly filled in) quarry. Coordinates adjusted by Stuart Herring on 08 November 2024 based on personal communications and onsite observation.

The Woodberry Quarry was worked for aggregates from the 1950s to the 1970s.
The quarry was a landfill site until 1985.

Also, the Woodberry Quarry is not part of the Jones Falls Quarries! Please confirm locations. Stuart Herring.
