Information on this was found while researching nearby gold mines. The site may have been long forgotten. It is located in the Gibraltar group of mines, just west of the Easter Gift gold Mine. This is 25 kilometres south-west of Coolgardie, and 10 kilometres north-west of the Queen Victoria Rocks Road. The area contains several minor historic gold workings until the early 1930's. A more modern source states it is 2 kilometres west south-west of Bullabulling.

Building stone was discovered here in 1895. Men connected with the building trade inspected the deposit shortly after. The Wilke brothers extracted building blocks from 1896, said to have been used in around fifty buildings in the region including the Coolgardie Warden's Court, and Kalgoorlie Railway Station.

The stone contains a soft kaolin, making it easy to quarry, but then has the strange property of hardening on exposure to air. Described as having beautiful Fe markings, showing regular wavy patterns like timber.

It is located in Archaean metasedimentary and felsic metavolcaniclastic rocks. A small overgrown quarry remains down to a depth of 4 metres, probably abandoned since the early 20th century. There is a basal layer of deep pink to orange metasandstone, beneath a white kaolin horizon, with weathered red-brown surface material overlying. The writer in 2016, saw a couple of blocks of the material for sale at a Perth stone retailer.

The source states there could be several similar stone sites in the area which are now lost.

The Mindat co-ordinates are approximate.
