This Cu-Ag mine is the second level over the drainage level.
Worked since the mid-16th century; most parts are not accessible.
The entrance of the mine is closed by a concrete bunker that hosts a seismograph.

As this locality lies in the Sainte Marie-aux-Mines district, the place is protected by an archaeological mining district status, and all collecting is prohibited.
