Génese:eEpigenética, vulcanogénica e supergénica. Sedimentar detrítica.
Descrição Geológica: filão de quartzo e óxidos de ferro e manganês, orientado N45º a 50ºE, inclinado para SE, com 5 Km de comprimento e possança variável. Onde termina este filão da Serra Comprida, área de Raco de Baixo, surgem impregnações de Fe-Mn nos xistos.
Geologia local: Complexo Vulcano-silicioso do Cercal.
Geologia Regional: Carbónico, Sector Cercal-Rio Mira.
Mineralizações Principais: hematite (oligisto), limonite, pirolusite, lepidocrocite (mica rubi).
Mineralizações secundárias: barite, braunite, polianite.
Distribuições: disseminada na rocha encaixante, maciça.
Morfologias: estratiforme, filão.
Gangas: quartzo, xistos.
Rochas encaixantes: tufos, xistos.
Concessões: 104, 1130, 1132, 1133, 1134, 1135, 1140.
