A salt lake.
According to the mineral exploration report of the LGC mine area, the lake is estimated to contain 2.60 million metric tons of lithium chloride resources and 3.95 million metric tons of boron trioxide. Xiakangjian geothermal water serves as the primary source of dissolved Li and B in the river, while ongoing processes of dissolution, leaching, and desorption from sediments within the catchment area also make significant contributions to these elements.
