A shallow ridge some 2.8km south of Gurambira. In early 2014, a local farmer discovered chunks of amethyst crystals at surface. Shallow pitting by the farmer showed the presence of more amethyst, partly as shards of large crystals. Through intensive lateritisation practically all crystals are broken. Apparently these are amethyst veins in granite. No other minerals could be observed.
