This site is a separate locality from Comet Quartz Mine - J.G. Gole Mine located in Murchison township northwest of Madawaska Ontario.
The Comet Property is located within the Powassan Domain of the Algonquin Terrane of the Central Gneissic Belt.
The pegmatite dike is approximately 8 m wide and is exposed in a shallow pit and stripping which extends for about 30 m.
The workings are located approximately 600m north on a trail from Forestry Road in Laurier Township. Worked in 1982-1983 by the Comet quartz company.
