A gold mine on the west side of Silver Creek roughly 1 mile north of Galena. Development consisted of two adits. The ore occurred along a weakly mineralized fault in hornfels.
Note: Huntting (1956) lists "Index Gold Mines" as operating a mine in the district. Unpublished notes from the US Bureau of Mines state that "Index Gold Mines" is another name for this mine.
