Slices and lenses of garnet peridotite, occurring within high pressure mafic granulite and garnet-bearing felsic gneiss. The peridotite underwent three stages of metamorphic evolution, namely (1) a peak metamorphic stage (t = 891-1054 °C, p = 17.2-24.7 kbar), (2) an initial decompression retrograde stage (t = 711-796°C, p = 10 kbar), and (3) a late amphibolite-greenschist facies retrograde stage.
